Software Engineer

Grarden is building tools to automate data annotation. Our two products are Lattice, a zero-shot computer vision framework which allows you to chain zero-shot vision models to create custom end-to-end pipelines, and Fig, a self-improving auto annotation agent. We are currently in stealth mode. We ship fast.

Software engineers will focus on designing, building, and scaling the backend systems, infrastructure, and developer tools that power our core products, Lattice and Fig, ensuring high performance and reliability for our users and internal teams.

• Strong software engineering skills

• Experience with Python, Rust, or similar languages

• Experience designing, building, and scaling distributed systems, ML infrastructure, or complex backend services

• Track record of shipping high-quality software products

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Excellent communication skills

• Led complex technical projects with many stakeholders

• Experience with or interest in AI/ML systems and computer vision pipelines

• Worked at a startup as an early-stage engineer
